Center Stage

Designed with acoustics as the highest priority, the Ted Mann Concert Hall shines with the all-encompassing, clear sound of musical performances. The auditorium is a traditional European shoebox design, with two shallow tiers and a raised mezzanine. Comfortable seats in generously spaced rows offer outstanding sight lines from everywhere in the hall.

The flexible stage can provide an intimate setting for a lecturer or accommodate a full orchestra and chorus. A large fly loft with assorted soft goods, pit lifts, adjustable proscenium arch, flexible acoustic system and computerized lighting can meet the needs of the most demanding productions. An integrated sound and video system accommodates both recording and broadcasting.

Behind the Scenes

Backstage, performers and presenters have access to an intimate green room, two personal dressing rooms and two spacious group dressing rooms. Breakout, rehearsal and warm-up rooms in the adjacent School of Music facilities offer further programming options.
